Ayekoo & GhanaFirst commemorate Ghana's first president Kwame Nkrumah's centenary

Saturday September 5 2009, 3-6pm: Nkrumah @ 100 With Dr KB Asante, a former Nkrumah aide, and pan-Africanist and other Nkrumahists and pan-Africanists examine President Nkrumah's vision, legacy and the way forward for Ghana and other African countries. This is a family-friendly event, and all are welcome. Dr Asante's book 'Voice From Afar' will be on sale. Cost £10.

An open discussion and a precursor to BTWSCs OCN Level 2 accredited African History Overview course: Saturdays October 10, 17, 24, 3-6pm: Cost: £30 for whole course and registration on first day of class, or £10 per class plus registration fee of £20.
